What if the way we move shapes the way we think?
What if the parts of us that feel stuck—emotionally, mentally, physically—are simply longing for more flow?
In this daylong workshop, we explore how the qualities of water—fluid, circular, adaptable—can guide us back to a sense of movement and connection within ourselves.
Through gentle body-based practices, drawing, reflection, and shared ritual, we’ll listen to the places in us that feel tense or dry, and gently invite them to soften, speak, and shift.
We’ll draw inspiration from the work of women who honor the body as a fluid, intelligent system, who invites us to see ourselves as bodies of water, who teach us to move like waves, to return to deep inner listening.
This is not a dance workshop. It’s a space for curious, caring exploration—a place to reconnect with your body and inner rhythm at your own pace.
The day includes:
A short teaching on how movement patterns shape thought and perception
Guided somatic practices (accessible for all bodies)
Inner dialogue with the “stuck” places in your body
Time for journaling, integration, and meaningful connection
A closing water ceremony
Please bring:
Comfortable clothes
A journal and pen
A small shell or stone (optional—extras available)
