I am a psychotherapist, meditation and yoga teacher and practitioner, and guide in the art of inner transformation. For over two decades, I’ve supported individuals, groups, and communities as they navigate meaningful change—whether personal, professional, or spiritual.

My work weaves together psychotherapy, somatic practices, meditation, and shamanic energy medicine to offer a deeply integrative and intuitive approach. I walk alongside people at pivotal thresholds—when the old ways no longer fit, and something more true begins to emerge.

Raised between the United States and Greece, my journey began in the sciences. I earned a PhD in Biomedical Engineering and worked in medical research for several years before turning toward the inner workings of the mind and spirit. What followed was a path of ongoing study and practice across therapeutic, contemplative, and ancestral traditions.

I now support purpose-driven professionals, creatives, therapists, and leaders—those carrying a lot, often in silence—who are ready to reconnect to themselves and step into a more grounded, authentic, and soulful way of living and leading.

In 2010, I founded the Synthesis Center in Athens, a space for healing, embodiment, and transformation. I maintain a private practice, guide small groups and retreats in Greece and internationally, and serve on the teaching faculty of The Four Winds Society.

Psychotherapy

I hold a BSc in Psychology and trained in Gestalt Psychotherapy at the Gestalt Foundation in Athens, known for its human-centered, ethical approach to training. Over the years, I’ve worked in both clinical and private settings, with individuals and groups, adolescents and adults.

Although my work remains rooted in the here-and-now orientation of Gestalt, it has organically evolved through years of continued study and experience. I’ve integrated somatic approaches, inner child work, and parts-based inquiry, as well as nervous system regulation. This evolving synthesis allows me to meet each person in a way that is attuned, trauma-informed, and grounded in both psychology and presence.

My therapeutic lens is shaped by embodiment, relational depth, and the belief that healing unfolds through compassionate awareness of what is.

Meditation & the Path of Zen

Before I found Zen, my meditation journey began within yogic traditions, cultivated alongside years of dedicated practice and teaching in Ashtanga Yoga. Over time, the call to deepen into stillness led me to the simplicity and clarity of Zen.

Since 2012, I have engaged in intensive training in Zen meditation, including multiple silent retreats, precept study, and formal teacher training. This practice continues to shape my presence and my way of listening. It informs how I meet clients—with spacious attention, grounded awareness, and a deep respect for what is unfolding in the moment.

Energy Medicine

I am a graduate and faculty member of The Four Winds Society, founded by Alberto Villoldo. My training in shamanic energy medicine has brought together the threads of psychotherapy, embodiment, and soul work into a cohesive and powerful healing system. I continue to travel and study in Peru as well as other shamanic traditions, and I offer both private sessions and ceremonial work rooted in my experiences.

This work offers clients a unique opportunity to shift long-held patterns at the energetic level, access inner clarity, and reconnect to a deeper sense of meaning, vitality, and ancestral wisdom

Yoga

I have practiced Ashtanga Yoga since 2000 and have taught both Primary and Intermediate Series since 2006. I trained extensively with Kristina Karitinou, Manju Jois and Nancy Gilgoff, and co-founded the Ashtanga Vinyasa Association of Greece. Yoga remains a personal anchor and a foundational layer of my approach to awareness and vitality.
