I am a psychotherapist, meditation and yoga teacher, and integrative healer. For over two decades, I have supported individuals, groups, and communities through the art of inner transformation.
My work brings together psychotherapy, somatic practices, meditation, and shamanic energy medicine to offer a deeply intuitive and integrative path. I draw from both ancestral wisdom and contemporary evidence based approaches to support people in moments of transition, when the old ways no longer serve and something more authentic is ready to emerge.
Raised between the United States and Greece, I began my journey in the sciences. I hold a PhD in Biomedical Engineering and spent years in medical and psychological research before turning toward the inner life. This led to ongoing study and practice across therapeutic, contemplative, and ancestral traditions.
I now work with purpose driven professionals, therapists, creatives, and leaders who carry a lot, often silently, and are ready to reconnect with themselves and live with greater presence, depth, and meaning.
From 2010 to 2025, I founded and directed the Synthesis Yoga Center in Athens. I now focus on private practice, international retreats, and online offerings that allow me to connect with a more global and diverse community. I am also honored to be on the lead faculty of the Four Winds Society.
Psychotherapy
I hold a BSc in Psychology and trained in Gestalt Psychotherapy at the Gestalt Foundation in Athens, known for its human-centered, ethical approach to training. Over the years, I’ve worked in both clinical and private settings, with individuals and groups, adolescents and adults.
Although my work remains rooted in the here-and-now orientation of Gestalt, it has organically evolved through years of continued study and experience. I’ve integrated somatic approaches, inner child work, and parts-based inquiry, as well as nervous system regulation. This evolving synthesis allows me to meet each person in a way that is attuned, trauma-informed, and grounded in both psychology and presence.
My therapeutic lens is shaped by embodiment, relational depth, and the belief that healing unfolds through compassionate awareness of what is.
Meditation & the Path of Zen
Before I found Zen, my meditation journey began within yogic traditions, cultivated alongside years of dedicated practice and teaching in Ashtanga Yoga. Over time, the call to deepen into stillness led me to the simplicity and clarity of Zen.
Since 2012, I have engaged in intensive training in Zen meditation, including multiple silent retreats, precept study, and formal teacher training. This practice continues to shape my presence and my way of listening. It informs how I meet clients—with spacious attention, grounded awareness, and a deep respect for what is unfolding in the moment.
Energy Medicine
I am a graduate and faculty member of The Four Winds Society, founded by Alberto Villoldo. My training in shamanic energy medicine has brought together the threads of psychotherapy, embodiment, and soul work into a cohesive and powerful healing system. I continue to travel and study in Peru as well as other shamanic traditions, and I offer both private sessions and ceremonial work rooted in my experiences.
This work offers clients a unique opportunity to shift long-held patterns at the energetic level, access inner clarity, and reconnect to a deeper sense of meaning, vitality, and ancestral wisdom
Yoga
I have practiced Ashtanga Yoga since 2000 and have taught both Primary and Intermediate Series since 2006. I trained extensively with Kristina Karitinou, Manju Jois and Nancy Gilgoff, and co-founded the Ashtanga Vinyasa Association of Greece. Yoga remains a personal anchor and a foundational layer of my approach to awareness and vitality.
